Hi everyone!! I am posting on my blog after quite sometime. It is because lately i have noticed few pageviews to my very new and humble blog that encouraged and motivated me to make it better and keep it going. All thanks to "The mini food blog" :-)
Now coming back to the miniatures, recently i made a mini ancient times asian hawker stall. It is about the size of your hand's palm. Here are some pictures of the mini stall..hope you like them :-)

Thai noodles
Momos (a south east asian dish originally) but is relished in India like anything. It is served with an "ohh so hot and spicy" chilli sauce that is sure to make your tongue burn..yet you will ask for more!!! :-)
 Chicken curry
 Steamed fish
 Abalone fish
Cherry pie with a cup of coffee
 Fruit pie
A japanese bento box (with rice, salad, fried chicken, salmon, mashed potatoes)
Kebabs..a delicious indian preperation made with minced meat (is served with onions and lemon)
Jalebi - an indian sweet (served on a newspaper in a typical serving style at the local shops)
Gulab jamun...ohhhh it is a sweet soooooo sweet, submerged in sugar syrup :-)
Dhokla again, a gujarati snack
I am in awe of miniatures completely....the kind of detailing and perfection that miniaturists bring in their creations is just so incredible. It is truely inspiring for me. There is one thing that i feel is very unique about my creations too :-) I make "indian dishes" in miniatures. This gives me an opportunity to try and create dishes that are new, different, entirely unique and interesting to make. There are a lot of indian dishes in my mind that I am yet to make..i have made only few as of now.
That is a collarge made by a friend of mine..my miniatures and I :-) I'll post their separate pictures too:-)

'Paella' in a wok..the wok is also made out of clay

Dhokla (a very popular Indian, to be precise 'Gujarati' snack, topped with chillies and mustard seeds)
Unlike most of the miniaturists, i use air dry clay for my miniatures. Polymer clay is more commonly used  for food miniatures but I have not tried my hands on baking clay as yet...hopefully some day i will, when i get better with time :-)
