I am in awe of miniatures completely....the kind of detailing and perfection that miniaturists bring in their creations is just so incredible. It is truely inspiring for me. There is one thing that i feel is very unique about my creations too :-) I make "indian dishes" in miniatures. This gives me an opportunity to try and create dishes that are new, different, entirely unique and interesting to make. There are a lot of indian dishes in my mind that I am yet to make..i have made only few as of now.
That is a collarge made by a friend of mine..my miniatures and I :-) I'll post their separate pictures too:-)
'Paella' in a wok..the wok is also made out of clay
Dhokla (a very popular Indian, to be precise 'Gujarati' snack, topped with chillies and mustard seeds)
Unlike most of the miniaturists, i use air dry clay for my miniatures. Polymer clay is more commonly used for food miniatures but I have not tried my hands on baking clay as yet...hopefully some day i will, when i get better with time :-)

Introduction
Hi everyone,
My name is Nayab, I am from India living in Singapore for work.
As the name suggests, this blog is all about miniature food. I am an amateur at this art and thought of creating a blog, hoping that i'll get a larger and interested audience for my humble creations. I have checked out hundreds of blogs and websites on miniature foods before creating one of my own. They would always bring sparkle to my eyes and i looked at the creations completely bewildered at such immense and rare talent. All those miniaturists are an inspiration for me, they make me feel that i can also do something worthwhile with my creations if i continue with the same passion. I love food and miniatures, both!! :-)
